Beatrice Corà
Greetings to you who are about to read these lines!
My name is Beatrice, I feed on words, colors, and sounds, and I feel a feeling of gratitude for the work I do. For me, books, like a work of art or a song, possess the virtue of being medicine for the soul. I enjoy taking refuge between the pages of a book, reflecting on the words, empathizing with the characters to discover – and rediscover – myself, extrapolating the author's thoughts to make them my own, increasing my cultural background. But reading is not everything: I enjoy taking long walks among nature, photography, listening to music, visiting cities. Lastly, I have a burning passion for art: I love to fascinatedly contemplate paintings and sculptures in museums when the opportunity arises, just as I love to learn about the historical dynamics behind the works themselves. It is a passion that led me to pursue a university degree in cultural heritage. In this regard, I should point out that for this very reason, you may not often see me roaming the bookstore shelves, you will find me only occasionally. But if you do, do not hesitate to ask for my help or advice – I will be more than happy to abide!
