Giampietro Antoniolo
I am Piero and, in the bookstore, I take care of book handling. I receive dozens of volumes every day that I then sort through to the various departments. My hands touch everything that you then see on the shelves. I am the only witness to the continuous flow that feeds the bookstore, the only one to materially hold each and every book, from the literary masterpiece to the small last-minute editorial invention. Due to the nature of my job, I am in constant motion, but still, despite all my running, I rarely cross paths with our customers. Some bad tongues say it's for the best, I pass for being a little frantic, but that only happens when I'm in solitude in front of the mountains of boxes waiting to be opened and emptied. As soon as I am in contact with people, my cheerfulness returns and I can recommend the books I am passionate about: nature, the outdoors, and sports. But also books that teach how to make, manipulate, build, and - when I can - I gladly recommend what I liked best, be those manuals, essays or novels.
